Biography
Mark Carwardine is a zoologist, conservationist, award-winning author and broadcaster with a career spanning over three decades. He has written more than 60 books on wildlife and conservation, presented numerous TV and radio programmes, and is a widely published wildlife photographer. A former Chair of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year judging panel and a long-time BBC Wildlife columnist, Mark is also a respected tour leader and public speaker. His work combines scientific insight with a deep passion for the natural world — often delivered with trademark wit and curiosity.
