Anna May of Dorset Dahlias started growing dahlias about 12 years ago. One dahlia soon multiplied and she now grows around 800 plants a year, comprising some 120 varieties. Anna sells her dahlias to florists for weddings and events as well as directly to brides organising the flowers for their weddings.
Anna will talk you through the dahlia year discussing how to look grow and look after your dahlias. The best way to care for them when in bloom, when to cut them for best vase life and how to care for them after the flowering season in preparation for the following year.
