Delivery Terms & Conditions
Symondsbury Estate aim to despatch your goods within 48 hrs of placing your order to any part of the UK Mainland using Royal Mail, MyHermes, Despatch Bay, UK Mail. The UK Mainland (England, Wales and Scotland (exc. Highlands and Islands) delivery charge is calculated by weight and size of product(s) at checkout unless free delivery is stated. All other areas of the UK (Scottish Highlands and Islands and Northern Ireland) are subject to additional charges, delivery costs available on application for these areas. Orders placed after midday Friday will usually be processed for despatch on the following Monday. Please note that if an order is placed during a bank holiday, the order will be processed for despatch the next working week day.
Delivery / Claims
Please ensure that a full and correct address is given (with postcode) as any additional carriage costs resulting from errors will be charged. Delivery charges are as those listed on the separate order form. All items are insured. Claims for breakages or other damage, or any items not as described, must be made in writing to ‘Symondsbury Estate’ email@example.com within 7 days of received delivery.
Items damaged in transit, defective & incorrect
If you take delivery of a package from us and the goods being delivered to you have been damaged in transit, or are: defective, not as described, not of satisfactory quality, not fit for purpose, or are faulty, we will exchange these items without charge to you for a period of 14 days from the date of sale or provide you with a full refund. We may request photos of the damage and packaging in order to enable us to investigate the matter with our courier and packing facility.
Symondsbury Estate shall not be liable for any loss which might occur after the parcel has been signed for on delivery. Our liability, in any circumstance and whatsoever the consequences, relating to any parcel ordered is limited to the invoice value of the parcel itself.
It is the Customers responsibility to ensure all delivery address/details for the order are correct. Symondsbury Estate cannot accept any responsibility or costs for non delivery to the intended recipient or losses in such circumstances. Ensuring that the recipient is going to be at the delivery address, on the day of delivery, remains the responsibility of the customer. Symondsbury Estate cannot accept responsibility or costs incurred in such circumstances e.g. recipient being on holiday etc, on day of delivery. Symondsbury Estate cannot accept responsibility or any costs incurred as the result of a delay in delivery by chosen carrier due to adverse weather conditions or accident. Where damage has occurred due to such delay, a replacement will be despatched to the recipient.
